USPTO granted AgraFilms patent US11864559B2. This patent overcomes the limitations of existing chemical and biocontrol products for treating or preventing potato soft rot by providing compositions comprising amoebae that feed on, and neutralize, bacteria responsible for soft rot. The compositions and methods provide an effective and non-toxic approach for treating and preventing soft rot in potatoes.
